Incorporating and adapting Arab elements within the Cluj local setting, the Damas Arabic Goods store design pivots around a handmade pastry showcase crafted by a Syrian artisan. This remarkable feature forms the cornerstone of the bespoke interior design approach employed here.

Complementing the pastry showcase, we've introduced an elevated decor piece inspired by Arab folklore, thereby establishing a visual balance within the space. The stylized decor subtly harkens back to the glazed surfaces found in Arab architecture and the iconic Syrian mosaics.

Born in Dezmir, Cluj County in 2020, the concept of Bonas stores represents Savu Studio's first foray into commercial design, resulting in over 20 locations throughout Romania, particularly in Cluj and Bucharest.

At the heart of Bonas stores' design line is a stylized milk pail. This iconic element evokes childhood memories of holidays at our grandparents'. Together with their "Freshly Good" slogan, it's a tribute to a time when food was produced naturally, freshly, and cleanly. The milk pail’s particular elements, such as the metal bands securing the wooden slats and the rivets used for reinforcement, have been incorporated and adapted into the design. Last but not least, the cream, with its alluring natural fall, tempts you to have a taste.

With the launch of a new ice cream production line in 2021, a fresh, bespoke interior design concept took shape in Cluj. The narrative of this new, equally fresh product, is told through decorative elements. The stylized ice cream cone, the ice cream van which incorporates the ice cream display and which is also found among the dynamic decorative elements like rolling hills, wind-swept balloons, and a stray wheel, all adding flavor to the narrative.

Transforming a small home into a functional and appealing living space on a limited budget can prove to be a challenging task. A prime example of this is the A.M. apartment in Cluj-Napoca, designed to meet the needs of a young IT professional. This 49 square meter dwelling, inspired by Scandinavian design principles, perfectly aligns with the owner's lifestyle.

Our main approach was to create an efficient layout, with a strong focus on maximizing storage and optimizing all available space. We've exploited vertical space for storage - a crucial feature in smaller homes, providing an organizational solution that doesn't compromise the aesthetic appeal.

With the application of strategic design techniques, we've managed to make the space appear larger. For instance, the uninterrupted tiling from the kitchen to the bathroom enhances the sense of continuity and spaciousness. Additionally, the sliding door between the hallway and the living room not only enhances the aesthetics but also allows more light to shine into the hallway, contributing to the perception of an extended open space.

In harmony with the Scandinavian design philosophy, we've used a wide array of textures, shapes, and volumes. The color palette is light and airy, punctuated by masculine notes of oak and graphite. Colorful touches are provided by the drapes, noticeable in the kitchen, bedroom, and living room design. The bathroom also follows suit, featuring a neutral color scheme with playful stracciatella accents in the shower, thus ensuring a cohesive design throughout the home.

The design of the Bottega revolves around the grill, a pivotal element in the store's interior design. From the intricate, perforated metal panels of the refrigerated display cases to the store's metallic shelves, every element synergistically intermingles to form a bespoke interior design concept.

The oak finish of the shelves and central island, coupled with the metallic structures, enhances the store's industrial-style interior, which was thoughtfully adapted to cater to customer needs.

The ample shelving, integral to the commercial design flow, provides a perfect platform to showcase local products. The island displays seasonal offerings, while the mouthwatering specialities and charcuterie from the Székely region beckon from their spacious display cases.
