BonasBonas store design concept
Born in Dezmir, Cluj County in 2020, the concept of Bonas stores represents Savu Studio's first foray into commercial design, resulting in over 20 locations throughout Romania, particularly in Cluj and Bucharest.
At the heart of Bonas stores' design line is a stylized milk pail. This iconic element evokes childhood memories of holidays at our grandparents'. Together with their "Freshly Good" slogan, it's a tribute to a time when food was produced naturally, freshly, and cleanly. The milk pail’s particular elements, such as the metal bands securing the wooden slats and the rivets used for reinforcement, have been incorporated and adapted into the design. Last but not least, the cream, with its alluring natural fall, tempts you to have a taste.
With the launch of a new ice cream production line in 2021, a fresh, bespoke interior design concept took shape in Cluj. The narrative of this new, equally fresh product, is told through decorative elements. The stylized ice cream cone, the ice cream van which incorporates the ice cream display and which is also found among the dynamic decorative elements like rolling hills, wind-swept balloons, and a stray wheel, all adding flavor to the narrative.
